I’ve found this to be a very interesting book. There are three words highlighted by each birthday which seemed pretty accurate for all the birthdays I’ve checked. And some things of note to me— my dad’s winter uniform was his birthday color, and also many of the marriages that’ve occurred in our family have been between people in the green spectrum and those in the violet one. I noticed, too, that those people who are the quietest one have really quiet colors. There are very few light colors (pastels) in the book. The colors listed are often quite saturated. My major problem with the book was reading the text on the deep colored pages...wish they’d found a format thats a tad more readableOf note—no month contains just one color, although you may find that there are a number of colors in the same color family. However, Astrological signs contain decans, and any horoscope contains planets, moon nodes, rising signs (and the 4 angles)....and a wide number of factors that an astrologer has to consider.
A big disappointment. What preview I'd seen led me to think it was basically one color family per month. It's not! She throws in others for no apparent reason in each month. Also these colors are NOT the traditional colors given for astrological months. For instance, Taurus is usually pink and white but not with her! No, it's greens! However, Taurus is ruled by Venus and that SHOULD be pink! Green is NOT romantic at all.
This book is a fun concept but is more of a one-time party use type book. Once you've read your Pantone colorstrology, there isn't much use for the book.
Bought it as a gift for a designer and she loved it. Great add on gift!
Very interesting and useful. Worth the purchase price. Is a nice reference and guide book into the mystical. It does give insightful information. Intuitive and psychic readers might find this a good verification tool.
I like this book. Not a lot of depth but its not supposed to. It may not be the deepest read, but its simple and entertaining. Kind of like a magazine, ya just pick up and jump around to birthdays of people you know. I find it to be a good gift because anyone could find it kinda cool to just skim through.
Wife loves this book. It has helped her w/ color schemes in our home.
