Adele Kenny is the author of 23 books (poetry & nonfiction). Her poems, reviews, and articles have been published in journals worldwide, and her poems have appeared in books and anthologies published by Crown, Tuttle, Shambhala, and McGraw-Hill. She is the recipient of numerous awards for her poetry, including two fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a first place Merit Book Award, a Thomas Merton Poetry of the Sacred Award, and a Writer's Digest Poetry Award. Adele Kenny's book was invaluable while cataloging a collection of daguerreotypes. Kenny covers many aspects - cases of many varieties, brass mats and pads/cushions - not found in other books on the subject. Kenny displays a true knack for description and a clear knowledge of her subject.
great book for collectors
I really enjoyed it, but it's a bit short for me. Just when I'm getting into it, it stops. There's not enough! I really love the book - full of info, pictures (in colour!!! I'm not sure if this is the only book about cases in colour, but it's rare and I love it) A really great book on cases.
Phenomenal, I use it on a daily basis. Don't know how I lived without it....
