I got this book for the designs, which I do enjoy, however, I was very disappointed that there are only a few that simply repeat over and over again. Also, the paper itself is very thin and cheap. My markers have bled through, and I even colored through a page leaving a hole while trying to color. There are also noticeable mistakes and misprints throughout the . I would not recommend this to anyone. Waste of money.
I'm tired of mandalas, swear words, and cutesy animals I wanted something more in my wheelhouse. This was perfect! I'm slightly disappointed that is not super-duper intricate, but I'm excited to dive in! I ordered a copy for my friend who is into the spooky stuff too!
Accurate description and ample photos provided before purchasing; however, upon receipt I’m disappointed. There are two of every picture, which seems like a high cost even though you get a download feature included to reprint all the designers you want as many times as you want to print them. Which, in my opinion, is no different than any other book where you can just make copies on quality paper and color as many times as you want and pay less for the book. I don’t color the same picture twice, but could share with friends I suppose. The pictures are very dark themed. Again, provided, but in my hands, some just feel really dark. I would say this book is under the horror category. I wanted Halloween themed. The paper is good quality and black on the opposite of each picture to ensure no bleed through maybe?
This is the fourth Jade Summer book I have bought. I have love them all except this one. It is a full size book and every space on the page has to be colored. I managed to do one picture so far but, I grew tired of it before I finished. Best for people who want to color a detailed picture. Has all the plus, features of Summer's books. Pictures on one side of the page and the back is black. The picture divide into categories of: Monsters, Children, Scenes, and Mandelas.
Jade Summer never disappoints! The Haunted House coloring book includes images of: haunted houses (no kidding), graveyards, freaky mandalas, Dia de los Muertos themes, demons, vampires, creepy dolls, hanging trees, and meals to die for. As always, there are two of each image and the back of each page is lined in black to prevent bleed-through. Another fantastic collection!
Great horror designs! Printed on one side, pages are black on the back. 25 different designs with a duplicate of each. Well constructed. There's a digital copy available from the publisher when you purchase, which is awesome.
The pages are one sided with a black page on the back (a plus in my view!) There are two copies of each page, which is nice if you mess up and want to start over. However, since the pages are one sided and there are duplicates of each page, only about 1/3 of the book is original and colorable.
Good quality paper, one sided with a back side blacked. Doesn't seem to have to many tiny designs parts to color. It would have 5 stars if they would use perforated paper so I could take them out of the book easier.
